Ok. So I’ve never seen this movie produced in the 1950’s, but the title expresses what happens in this 4th stage of homotoxicology…the impregnation phase. As you continued down the slippery slope of being too acidic and being too toxic you find your cells being compromised. We have, in this phase, an invasion of toxins into the cell. The ever important cellular membrane has been compromised and now the areas that were to be protected are vulnerable to attack. Sound scary? It is.
- Your cell membrane is meant to protect and preserve the integrity of the contents inside its walls. A breach in the membrane can spell trouble for your health.
In this phase the following signs and symptoms are common:
- Allergies
- Asthma
- Migraines
- Fibromyalgia
- Chronic Fatigue
- Chronic Gastritis
- Metabolic Syndrome
- Dyslipidemia
- Adrenal Exhaustion
- Chronic Infections
- Autoimmune Diseases
All toxins disrupt mitochondrial function. Your mitochondria are the “powerhouses” of the cell and manufacture all your energy. When the production lines are shut down, and your body can’t deliver the vital nutrients required by the mitochondria, you start to shut down. Your key metabolic processes become altered and dysfunctional. You start to shut down system by system. Your body preferentially shuts down processes in order to survive. Reproduction, for example, isn’t your body’s concern when being invaded by toxins. Digestion, sleep, mental clarity, and general sense of well being aren’t on the priority list when your cells are being compromised.
This is the stage where you might start seeing some standard lab tests enter into the pathologic range. This means that you will probably be given a variety of drugs which make the problem worse because they make you more toxic. The more the drugs don’t work, the more the doctors tell you “it’s all in your head” or that it’s just “normal”. Let me assure you…it’s not normal to feel sick!
