I want to wish everyone a great 4th of July! Our freedom is a result of many brave men and women that stood up for what is right…all gave some…and some gave all. I feel so blessed to be living in the greatest country in the world…the United States of America. God has truly blessed the USA and if we continue to build upon the foundation on which this country was established, I believe He will continue to bless.
If you have served, or are currently serving, in our military please accept this show of thanks to you from me and my family. I recognize that it is the blessings of God, and the sacrifice of brave men and women, that allow me to raise a family with freedoms and liberties not known in other parts of the world. Every time I hear the beginning of that well known song, “I’m Proud to Be An American“, I stand taller, a smile spreads across my face and a small tear will form in the corner of my eye. We have so much to be thankful for.
So whether you are at the parade, grilling hot dogs, eating watermelon, or resting in the shade…I encourage you to show gratitude and respect to those serving in our armed forces that make this day a special day.
