Dr. Charles Sefcik, DC, DACNB, CCN was born and raised in Texas City, TX and moved to ND at the age of 12. He graduated from Mandan High School and completed his undergraduate studies at Bismarck State College and University of Mary before entering chiropractic school at Northwestern Health Sciences University. After graduating with his doctor of chiropractic degree, he also successfully completed post-graduate training in chiropractic neurology with the Carrick Institute of Graduate Studies. After passing a rigorous written and oral board examination he became board certified in chiropractic neurology. He and his wife moved back to Bismarck shortly before the birth of their first child and started the Life Enhancement Clinic in October of 2005. Dr. Sefcik has also successfully completed the educational and examination requirements for his certified clinical nutritionist degree. He maintains a high level of post-graduate education to keep him up-to-date in the areas of chiropractic, neurological and behavioral sciences, rehabilitation, nutritional sciences and functional medicine. Dr. Sefcik has studied under some of the most influential people in the chiropractic and functional medicine professions.
Dr. Sefcik married the love of his life, Jendi, in 2000. She was a constant source of support and encouragement while he attended chiropractic school in Bloomington, MN. They have two awesome boys, Ethan and Ayden, and at the time of this writing, one more "bun in the oven". Chances are you will run into the family at some time during the course of your care. Jendi fulfills the many duties of an office manager and billing manager, and the boys like to come "bring lunch to daddy". You may even be fortunate enough to have Ethan "take notes" during your chiropractic adjustment since he loves to come to work with his dad.
Dr. Sefcik frequently works with young people in the community and serves as the Youth President for the ND United Pentecostal Church. He loves to read, study, play board games and spend time with his family.
